Poke Green began in the Fall of 2016 when Shinju Sushi near Wall Street was converted to the first Poke Green after its owner wanted to launch a new food venture heavily influenced by Hawaiian and Japanese cuisines with a fast-casual twist. Within months, the success of Poke Green’s first location prompted the expansion of Poke Green’s second location in the Financial District at Hanover Square. By November of 2018, Poke Green’s third location opened in the heart of Tribeca on Greenwich St. The Tribeca location was also the first Poke Green to roll out fresh Thai style hand-rolled ice cream. Poke Green strives to provide hungry New Yorkers with the highest quality of sustainable seafood, organic vegetables, house made sauces, and friendly customer service.
